Nigeria Vs Iceland: Woman ‘transmits’ anointing to Super Eagles(see picture)

A hilarious video tweeted by one Adeyemi Esther, @prettydamsel0, showing a devoted woman transmitting anointing to the Super Eagles shortly before their encounter with Iceland has continued to trend on the social media.

The video opens with the woman anointing the team members at the lineup while they sing the national anthem before the match commences.

As the image of each team member scrolls by, the woman does what appears to be a sign of the cross on each of the players.

She touches each player’s forehead, the shoulders and chest, all the while holding with the left hand what appears to be an open holy book.

As she does the ‘anointing,’ some out-of-view persons chorus an enchanting “Amen” all the time.

At the end of the game, Nigeria defeated Iceland 2:0.
