Detailed information about Badoo Group-by Onumara krixus uche(Laspotech Ikd news)

Several people has been killed and apprehended by some group of guys popularly known as "Badoo Cult" in Ikorodu, Lagos.
The Badoo Cult group uses a weird kind of weapon, they do not carries guns or machetes. Their weapon is primarily a stone. In addition, they use clubs, preferably household grinding stones and mortar and pestle. They are very vigilant and smart in carrying out a torror investigation and surveillance during the day before their major operation at night.
This cult group looks for loosely shut doors and windows so with one kick, it open. That is why most of their attack take place in houses. They cannot break into a house that is fully secured while some break in through the roof top.
Their modus operandi is to sneak into targets’ homes in the dead of the night and smash their heads with grinding stones or mortars. They are mortals, they are not spirit, they kill men but woman are the prime target.
"The reason why they kill men is that they can tackle and overpower them; otherwise it is woman that they really target. One handkerchief used to clean the blood of a female victim is bought for N500,000 and some even pay more. We got this fact from some of those we have apprehended and handed over to the police" according to some vigilante members.
Israel Ajao, a retired Deputy Inspector-General of Police and Chairman of the Lagos State Neighborhood Corps, added that; "It has become a disturbing trend and their modus operandi is worrisome. After they are done, they clean the blood with white clothes and they escape"
National Coordinator of the Oodua Peoples Congress, Otunba Gani Adams also added that;"we realized that some highly placed personalities sent those boys to carry out the killings. Most of the people involved in the Badoo cult group are ritualists. They use stones and big sticks to kill their victims. After that, they remove some parts of the body. They also use white handkerchiefs to take the victims’ blood. Those white handkerchiefs are taken to their godfathers".
He concluded by saying;"We went to some black spots and where cultists usually hide because we found out that cultists are usually recruited to operate as Badoo members. They recruit by putting up vacancy notice asking applicants to apply. And by the time you apply, you will be asked to come for interviews. You will be recruited and given some money. They also have a channel through which they give money to people as empowerment to recruit. They give as much as N250,000 to lure people to the cult".
